Perhaps one of the greatest miracle in my life is having my mom as my mom. She's just the greatest woman I'll probably ever know. Anyone who knows me well knows how much I talk about my mom. We've been through a lot together, "Madre" and I and I've seen how our relationship has grown, evolved, and strengthened immensely. She's one of my best buds. I call and/or e-mail her about everything even when I'm home. It's such a good feeling being able to talk to her and get her advice. Perhaps I'm a little too dependent on my mom's advice (I have a hard time shopping without her...really, I do) but she helps me grow. She's strong, faithful, and ridiculously optimistic. She's taught me to appreciate the small things in life: flowers, New England, good food, good weather, good friends, and the little moments and things in life that make you smile. Because of her it doesn't take much to make me happy! I love my mom!

I'm sure your mom would be just stoked to read this. Way cool. Thanks for the read.
btw, like your music.
We are not a sentimental family, but I get great vibes of affection when I'm with my daughter and I hope she feels the same way.
I love this saying....
'A daughter is a little girl who grows up to be a friend.'
