sunday scribblings: If I had to live at a different time in history

::Disclaimer:: I know it's been almost month since I last wrote but worry not, I'm alive and well. School has taken over my life, quite literally. But I'm here!

If I had to live at a different time....

I would absolutely choose the 1950s. I've had a love for this era since I was a kid. It just seemed like such a happy, fun time. Post-WW2 so life was looking pretty good, optimism was running high, people were appreciating the simple things in life. Plus I love the fashion and the music. I should mention I LOVE jazz music old and new, instrumental and lyrical. I love it all. I love the movies from this era as well.

If I lived in the 50s I think I'd like to live in the Northeast near some of the big cities (like Boston or New York), but far enough away to have the small town experience.

I just think the whole time period looks like fun! And who doesn't love Old Blue Eyes? :sigh:

I grew up in the fifties and it was a neat time to live. But, I'd miss my computer!
