Jeepers

First of all....HAPPY EASTER!!!

Second of all. I love the word "jeepers" and I find it appropriate for my blog post today.

One of my favorite parts of the Disney movie Hercules is where Pain or Panic (I don't know who is who) says, "Jeepers mister, you sure are strong." Also I like the scene where they are wearing Hercules's merchandise and Hades gets really angry. My brothers and I used to act that scene out ALL THE TIME = lots and lots and lots of giggling.

But seriously.... JEEPERS.

Tomorrow is the day people. I find out about my internships. Yes I'm nervous. Yes I'm excited. Yes I'm thrilled. Yes I'm terrified. Oddly enough I'm quite calm about it though. It'll be nice to finally know whether I got one or not. I didn't have one to begin with so it's not like I've lost anything. I just want to know. Whew. I'm SURE tomorrow I'll start to get the jitters, increased heart rate, sweaty palms, nauseous feeling. Joy.

This past week has been HADES. A test on research methods meaning....stats, research design, types of data analysis.

Gag me with a spork.

But I did ok so I was pleased BUT then I had a clinical worksheet and those assignments take HOURS to do. Then I had a research proposal to do and that took hours too. Basically stressful week. I've been grumpy, grouchy, moody, snappy, and feisty. And for the first time ever in my life I didn't have Easter dinner. Sad huh? I'm not really bothered by it to be honest, but it is rather sad. Instead I was sitting on my couch typing up a Literature Review and looking through 10-11 journal articles on calcium supplementation and blood pressure.

BUT.....

I was watching OPENING DAY FOR THE RED SOX!!!!!

AGAINST THE YANKEES!!!!!!!!!

AT FENWAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!

AND WE WON!!!!!

And Steven Tyler sang 'God Bless America'....gave me chills, and no not because it's Steven Tyler who, let's be honest, is a TAD creepy. It was just SO cool. That song, at Fenway, Opening Day, against the Yankees. Gotta love it.

And Neil Diamond sang "Sweet Caroline", as tradition, before the end of the 8th inning. At this moment I would have given just about anything to have been there.

Eh hem. I may or may not LOVE baseball. And Boston. And the Red Sox. No but really, watching the Red Sox at Fenway made me miss Boston soooooo much. Nothing like a good 'ole rivalry game at Fenway to open up the season. A sweet victory. Youkilis rocked. *sigh* I miss it.

And to only add to my love for Boston, the Celtics beat the Cavaliers. HA! Take that Lebron!!!

This week: DOOMSDAY aka I find out about internships at 5pm MST TOMORROW. I also have a LOOOAD of homework to do, presentations to prepare for, a tournament basketball game on Wednesday and Thursday (I'm being optimistic that we'll win on Wednesday), jobs to search for, graduation to prepare for. Geez the end of the semester is stressful.

BUT it's almost over! April is here! Spring is in the air (let's just hope it doesn't snow...again)
