Quirks!!!

I, like my friend Ashley who tagged me, have many quirks. It's rather difficult for me to pick just 6 but here goes...

1) I'm an extroverted person therefore I wear my emotions on my sleeves...much to my dismay (sometimes). My facial expressions are a dead giveaway for what is going on inside my head. For example, often times in my pathophysiology class I let my mind wander off. After a few minutes I can feel my facial expression dramatically change (usually it jerks into some disgusted, putrid expression because I'm thinking of something morbid in relation to some horrible disease we're studying). Basically my facial expressions change as I read, think, talk (very much so), listen, etc. So if you want to know how I'm feeling or what I'm thinking, analyze my facial expression for a few seconds and you are sure to discover something. Just please don't stare...it's kind of awkward and uncomfortable.

2) I like to organize things by size, color, alphabet, importance, etc. My closet is sectioned according to dress pants, skirts, short-sleeved blouses (sometimes by color), long-sleeved blouses (also sometimes by color), vests, sweaters, light jackets, and heavy jackets. I separate my sock drawer between white socks and patterned socks. My DVDs are alphabetized (it just makes it easier!). You get the picture. I'm an organized freak. At least I can find my stuff!!!

3) I'm very much a creature of habit. I go through the same routine when I put on my makeup in the morning (eyeliner, mascara, shadow, blush), when I get ready for bed, when I shower, and when I get dressed. Sometimes I try to mix things up but it just feels weird and my day seems a bit off.

4) Sticky notes. I love sticky notes! I use them to make lists for just about everything: things I need to get done for the week, Christmas lists, grocery shopping, doodles, notes to roommates, to section my binders, and reminders (their intended purpose?)-I just love sticky notes. I like to buy them in different colors, sizes, shapes, and patterns (the spiral ones are so cool!).

5) I stole this one from Ashley because it is so true I had to do it. I get very annoyed by grammatical errors. I find them in my lecture notes and circle them. I find them on tests and correct them. I find them in newspapers, online articles, and in magazines. Sometimes I'll vocally correct someone's grammar--usually friends so as to not offend random strangers-- ("My friend and I...," "She and I...," etc.). Usually I just keep it to myself. My mom did it to me growing up so I cannot help myself.

6) Planning. I'm a big planner. My agenda for the day (sometimes hour by hour but I've stopped that because it leaves no room for spontaneity), goals for the week, etc. One of the major planning quirks that I always get made fun of for is I pick out my clothes the night before and usually iron them. HEY!, before you laugh let me just argue my case. This gives me extra time to sleep in the next morning and I don't have to worry my outfit make myself late for school or church or meetings or whatever. I get to save my brain power for other things.

So, I'm going to TAG Tracy, Renae, Natalie, Britt, Liz, and Afton.

Here are the rules:
1. Link the person who tagged you.
2. Mention the rules on your blog.
3. Tell about six quirks you have, only 6!
4. Tag six fellow bloggers to do the same.
5. Leave a comment to let them know.

I love your quirks. They remind me of mine, except for all that organizational stuff. That is like the opposite of me. Love you.
